Dr. Klaus Bohndorf is Professor of Radiology and Chair of the Department of Radiology at the Klinikum Augsburg, Germany. He received his training to be a radiologist at St. Georg Hospital Hamburg and the University of Cologne. Dr. Bohndorf holds an academic appointment at the University of Aachen as an Associate Professor of Radiology. Dr. Bohndorf is especially interested in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
Dr. Klaus Bohndorf has been member of multiple Programme Committees and Scientific Boards of national and international congresses, workshops, symposia and courses. Currently, he is the President of the International Skeletal Society (ISS). Dr. Bohndorf is also a Past President of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR). He has been awarded the Wachsmann Prize of the German Roentgen Society and the President’s Medal of the ISS. Dr. Bohndorf is also an Honorary Member of the Italian Radiological Society. In addition, he has co-authored over 180 scientific articles and published 6 books dealing with bone and joint imaging. He lectures regularly at scientific and medical congresses around the world.
